So here I was, thinking earlier today, was I the only one who noticed that Pez Obeyme reached the bazillionth-times mark for personal appearances, caught in the act of lecturing, pontificating or posing in front of the camera, accompanied by his side-kick, TOTUS.  Nothing against TOTUS – after all, he’s the brain in that outfit.

Knowing a little bit about how one prepares for on-camera appearances, and narcisstisizing in general,  the preparation for these photo phlops often take hours, and the Pez is on-camera 24/7.   Okay, I’m exaggerating a wee bit , but he does seem to be on one of the networks almost daily. What I’m beginning to think lately is that the Pez is on a lecture circuit and he’s delegated his numerous duties to a rogue element who does just what it is used to doing.  Chicago style.

So basically I want to know who’s running the show. It appears he has more than enough issues on his plate, and yet, he’s primping and preening on-camera, telling everyone what to do – and say.

Obama: Government will go broke if we don’t fix health care!

The government will go broke if health care is not fixed! Hear ye! The government will go broke if health care is not fixed! The government will go broke! The government will got broke! (i.e., if we don’t go to war, we’ll see a mushroom cloud* rise on the horizon!) If health care isn’t fixed the government will go broke!!

Country tell the government is already broke?!?

Lest anyone forgot, today is National Pipeline Safety Day! I’m torn; there are many ways I can celebrate the mighty mention of today’s worth.  Some of you will probably celebrate by finally fixing that dern leak under the sink; then there’s those who will use the pipe as the Day’s weapon of choice. As for me, due to the magnitude of this resolution finally passing the House, think of it folks, the pipe, yipes, pipe day!  I’m going to trek through the jungle of my own home, catch a vine, swing down the hallway into my den where I’ll light *one* up in my finest meerschaum.

I don’t know how the sponsors of this resolution will celebrate National Pipeline Safety Day but rumor has it, the sponsors have been hitting the pipe all day.  Surely, this is celebrating to the max with hearts on fire.  And, finally:
